About the Team
The Compute team designs advanced AI systems, working across workload modeling and hardware co-design. We collaborate closely with partners to integrate system and data center design and are seeking engineers to help create solutions for data center applications. This team works with partners to optimize hardware for AI workloads, evaluate emerging technologies, and bring hardware platforms into production. About the Role
We’re looking for signal integrity (SI) system design engineers with deep expertise in SI and strong system-level design experience. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We follow a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
In this role, you will:
Lead SI design for AI systems supporting large-scale applications.
Collaborate with hardware, system, and design partners to develop innovative interconnect and high-speed solutions.
Identify and evaluate new technologies and methods to enhance signal and power integrity in product design.
Conduct simulations and modeling to address SI challenges.
Lead interconnect design, system bring-up, and qualification.
Contribute to shaping technology roadmaps in collaboration with partners.
You might thrive in this role if you:
Have at least 10 years of experience in hardware system design, including work on high-speed interfaces.
Bring a proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges.
Have experience across board level and system-level SI design.
Are familiar with PCB, connector, and cable design.
Are driven to continuously learn and share knowledge with teammates.
