Director, Content Marketing

Location: Mountain View, CA (In office 3-5 days a week)

What You Will Do:

  • Content and Social Strategy and Creation:
    • Develop and implement a robust content strategy that aligns with Moveworks' business objectives, showcasing your ability to innovate and drive measurable impact.
    • Lead the creation of impactful and engaging content, covering a diverse range of formats, and collaborating closely with the Design team.
    • Build and define Moveworks' social strategy alongside the Head of Social.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with Demand Generation, Sales, Sales Development, Product Marketing, and Field Marketing teams to align content strategy with integrated go-to-market campaigns, ensuring a unified and strategic approach.
    • Work closely with the Marketing team, ensuring content aligns seamlessly with broader marketing initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the Director of Web Development to integrate content effectively on the Moveworks website, enhancing the overall user experience.
  • Brand Voice and Messaging:
    • Define, develop, and maintain a consistent brand voice across all content platforms, ensuring that Moveworks' identity is consistently reflected.
    • Draft template posts for various stakeholders to ensure on-brand messaging, providing guidelines that resonate with our audience.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Define and report on the performance of content and social initiatives, using data to iterate and improve strategy, demonstrating your data-driven mindset.
    • Develop a framework for analyzing content effectiveness and operationalizing reporting to showcase key metrics and impact across all of the brand, demand generation, and social activities.
  • Collaboration and Enablement:
    • Collaborate with thought leaders, industry experts, and internal teams to reach new audiences, identifying and leveraging opportunities for strategic partnerships.
    • Conduct enablement sessions to share content best practices across departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Product Launch Support:
    • Participate in messaging and planning discussions for product launches, demonstrating a deep understanding of Moveworks' technology and platform nuances to effectively communicate product features and benefits.
  • Director-Level Responsibilities:
    • Manage and allocate budgets strategically to optimize content initiatives and maximize ROI.
    • Identify, attract, and hire exceptional talent to strengthen the content team.
    • Explore and leverage partnership opportunities to enhance our content reach and impact.
    • Keep abreast of the latest trends and innovations in content marketing, infusing fresh ideas into our strategies.

What You Bring To The Table:

  • Experience: 7+ years in content creation, preferably in B2B marketing, showcasing your proven track record of driving impactful content strategies.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align content strategies with overarching business goals, demonstrating a visionary approach.
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work collaboratively across teams, especially with the Marketing and Web Development departments. Provide examples of key stakeholders you've closely collaborated with in the past.
  • Excellent Storytelling: Proven track record of distilling complex concepts into compelling content, focusing on various content formats, including blogs, videos, demand generation assets, and more.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Passion for using data to inform strategic decisions and track performance, showcasing your analytical prowess.
  • Leadership Skills: Capable of leading and prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with director-level responsibilities such as budget management, talent acquisition, and strategic partnerships.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to high-tech startups or mid-sized SaaS B2B companies.
  • Familiarity with innovative content creation trends and technologies.

Base Compensation Range: $130,000 - $228,000

Our compensation package includes a market-competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions or bonus plans. Final offers may vary based on factors such as geography, role complexity, and candidate experience.
