About the Role:

Motive’s Enablement Team plays a critical role in the strategic implementation of key business initiatives and driving meaningful business impact across our Revenue organizations (Sales, Sales Development, Sales Engineering, Customer Success). Every team member has a crucial part in helping us fulfill our mission: To ensure that new and existing frontline team members are equipped with the information and skills they need to win in their roles.

We are actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Onboarding Specialist (Sales & GTM Enablement) to join our dynamic team at Motive. The selected candidate will be responsible for orchestrating the onboarding process for all revenue new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into our organizational culture and keeping the rep experience at the center of their efforts. The ideal candidate should be a great communicator with the ability to effectively describe complicated ideas to different audiences. Additionally, the candidate must be highly organized, proficient in time management, and possess excellent emotional intelligence and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging and interactive onboarding sessions for new sales hires.
  • Implement a variety of teaching methods, including role-playing, graded certifications, case studies, and simulations to enhance learning effectiveness.
  • Ensure a seamless and positive onboarding experience for all participants.
  • Infuse a sense of excitement, healthy competition in onboarding.
  • Implement gamification elements to encourage participation, teamwork, accountability, and performance excellence.
  • Establish and communicate clear evaluation criteria for onboarding success.
  • Provide constructive feedback to participants and collaborate with managers to address performance gaps during the onboarding process.
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the onboarding program and identify areas for improvement, owning and executing on resulting continuous improvement projects.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance program content.
  • Support creation/curation of Enablement content to supporting onboarding, including:
    • Structured slide decks
    • Internal Product and other “One Pagers”
    • Videos (including voice over and/or webinar-style/screenshare)
    • eLearning experiences
    • Email Templates
    • Talking Points/Scripts
    • Role Plays
    • Facilitator Guides
    • Playbooks
  • Assist with other related duties as assigned, including facilaition for existing team members as needed to support broader Enablement efforts.

Experience and Skills:

  • 2+ years building content and facilitating training across a multi-site sales or customer success organization
  • 1+ years of progressive responsibility in Enablement, L&D or Training roles in a high growth, B2B, SaaS organization
  • Exceptional communication (both verbally and in writing), presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Solid knowledge of the latest corporate training techniques.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and promote a work environment focused on team development and constant coaching
  • In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with ADDIE, Kirkpatrick’s evaluation model, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and other adult learning theory
  • Experience working with Continu, Salesforce, Confluence
  • Experience with Graphic Design & video-editing
Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The on-target earnings (base pay + commissions) for this role:
$74,514$100,812 USD
