About Inworld

At Inworld, we believe the processes of building, scaling, and evolving applications are monsters that consume value before it can reach users. Our mission is to solve evolution and transform static software into AI systems that autonomously evolve to better serve their users. We are building an intelligent runtime to conquer these monsters and make this vision a reality.

We are backed by investors such as Lightspeed, Section 32, Kleiner Perkins, Microsoft’s M12 venture fund, BITKRAFT, Founders Fund, and First Spark Ventures. Our technology is used by category leaders, including NVIDIA, Microsoft Xbox, Niantic, Wishroll, Little Umbrella and Streamlabs, among many others. Inworld has been recognized by CB Insights as one of the 100 most promising AI companies globally and has been named one of LinkedIn's Top 10 Startups in the USA.

Your impact

We're looking for a visionary VP, Growth who is equally hands-on in driving the market expansion and accelerating adoption across the developer ecosystem. This is a critical, cross-functional leadership role that will own the entire growth funnel, from developer awareness and acquisition to engagement and retention. You will be the architect of a technical growth engine, integrating product, engineering, and marketing to drive sustained developer adoption, accelerate activation and retention, and translate product adoption into revenue growth.

What you’ll do

  • Lay the foundation for and build a scalable, technically-driven growth function

  • Develop and execute strategies to create, engage, and grow our audience across marketing channels (Google, Linkedin, Meta, Reddit, X, etc.) and all possible developer touchpoints

  • Partner with product and engineering leadership to influence roadmap prioritization based on growth opportunities and user insights

  • Build a thriving developer ecosystem, fostering community engagement and advocacy

  • Coordinate high-impact product launches that generate significant visibility, leveraging newsletters, podcasts, press, publications and other outlets

  • Create viral campaigns leveraging product capabilities to reach and convert developers

  • Lead SEO, content strategy, and performance marketing initiatives, using insights from product usage and data to inform messaging, campaigns, and positioning

  • Build and maintain marketing infrastructure, tracking, dashboards, attribution tooling

  • Oversee technical content, from blog posts and landing pages to demo scripts and onboarding flows

What you’ll bring

  • Former founder, seasoned growth leader, or executive with experience scaling early-stage, high-growth companies

  • Strong product or engineering background with technical fluency, able to design and implement technically driven growth systems

  • Proven success building and leading growth teams, driving adoption, and scaling developer or product-led ecosystems

  • Track record of running product launches and campaigns that directly accelerated adoption and revenue

  • Thrive in ambiguity and see constant change as opportunity, not obstacle

  • Naturally spend nights and weekends hands-on with the latest technical innovations

  • Bring ideas and solutions, not org charts and territory-building

  • Consider marketing as a product surface that can be engineered and automated

  • Prior exposure to a product-led growth strategy and usage-based business model

  • BA/BS degree or higher, with technical degrees a plus

Candidates must be based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate (you will be working on-site in our South Bay office a few days a week).

The base salary range for this full-time position is $250,000 - $320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
