About the Role

The BizOps org is charged with scaling Hex - that is, helping the company do more with fewer resources over time. As part of that mission, we are looking to make a Lead hire in our RevOps pillar, to work alongside our existing Data and Internal Ops teams.

As Hex’s RevOps Lead, you’ll focus on aligning our Customer, Growth, Marketing, Partnerships, and Sales orgs to maximize Hex’s monetization potential. You’ll own the models for Hex’s business, and serve as the trusted partner for GTM leadership to ensure we’re identifying roadblocks and opportunities to maintain a world-class revenue growth engine.

This role is critically important for our rapidly-growing business, and we’re excited to find someone who is excited to build a new kind of GTM playbook instead of duplicating a traditional B2B playbook - we’re particularly interested in candidates who are excited to think in new ways about product-led sales and the modern data stack in a GTM context.

What you will do

  • Build and own Hex’s canonical GTM models, such as revenue and GTM capacity
  • Own the GTM planning process at Hex, inclusive of quota/comp design, territories, segmentation, and more
  • Perform analysis to identify opportunities, priorities, and roadblocks, working across Hex to implement changes and measure success
  • Define, drive alignment on, and track key metrics across GTM, both north stars and leading indicators, in close partnership with our Data team
  • Improve Hex’s GTM process and cadence, and work in close partnership with the broader BizOps team to operationalize them via processes like forecasting, pipeline tracking, and deal reviews
  • Own, in partnership with the existing RevOps associate, our GTM tool stack, currently inclusive of tools like Salesforce, LeanData, Salesloft, and of course Hex

Who you might be

There are a few specific things we’ll be looking for that will help you succeed in this role:

  • 5+ years of work experience, with 3+ in B2B startups in roles like RevOps, Sales Ops, Customer Ops, etc.
  • A deep understanding of excellence in GTM - cadence, planning, modeling
  • A track record of identifying opportunities/problems via analysis and driving change based on those insights
  • A history of data-driven decision making, demonstrated by moving metrics and improving data quality when needed

Some things that are not required, but you will learn on the job:

  • Exposure to and experience with SQL, dbt, Snowflake, and reverse ETL tools
  • Basic financial modeling
