Databricks, the leading Data and AI company, is looking for a motivated, technology minded Partner Technical Advisor (Solutions Architect) to join our dynamic Product Partnerships team. As a Partner Technical Advisor, you will pioneer building a vibrant, Modern Data and AI Stack partner ecosystem. These include traditional ISVs, Built-on partnerships, and Marketplace providers. With over a hundred Technology Partners already on board, Databricks accelerates innovation for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • You will become a technical expert on the full range of the Databricks platform

  • Stay informed on new products, features, and capabilities

  • You will Curate self-service onboarding materials with updated guidance to reduce time to value for partners

  • You will advise partners on best practices and architectures for building scalable solutions with the Databricks platform that extract value for our mutual customers

  • You will provide technical leadership in the delivery of partner solutions, including best practices, and removing technical roadblocks

  • You will Educate providers on Marketplace & listing requirements

  • You will Educate ISVs on the integration lifecycle

  • You will guide Built-on Partners through initial architecture that facilitate identified value propositions

  • Manage the expectations of partners and advocate for the perpetual progress of their solution: From initial design to MVP to its continued evolution

  • You will develop reference architectures, presentations, and demos for field organizations and technical marketing purposes

  • You will help measure key performance indicators (KPIs) of partnerships

  • You will contribute to the evolution of the partnership ecosystem in a fun, fast-paced, hyper-growth environment

  • Travel to partner and Databricks conferences

Qualifications

  • Software enterprise architecture skills in the context of data products (data engineering, AI/ML, or BI)

  • 2-5 years of experience in a partner or customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role

  • 1+ year experience building distributed data systems

  • 1+ year experience Coding using Python, Scala, or Java

  • Basic SQL experience

  • 1+ years of experience with Big Data Technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and Storm

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • 1+ years of experience presenting to technical audiences

  • Comfortable with domestic and international travel
