About the role:
We’re looking for an all-around lifecycle marketer who feels comfortable jumping in and growing a lifecycle marketing program from the ground up. You’re someone who feels at ease with the more technical parts of lifecycle marketing, like setting up a lifecycle marketing platform from scratch, understanding events, and spinning up journeys and campaigns, while also delving into the more user-centric parts, like understanding users’ motivations and crafting emails that make customers feel understood and supported along their journey.

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be driving our lifecycle marketing program across various channels (including email and push), platforms (iOS app with more to come soon), and markets / geos, building the program from the ground up and diving into copy, creative, and metrics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 – 6+ years of experience working in a lifecycle marketing role.

  • A comfort with lifecycle marketing platforms, setting up journeys and triggered campaigns from scratch across email, push, and SMS.

  • A technical understanding of what goes on behind the scenes of a lifecycle marketing platform: how data comes in, and how it goes out.

  • Experience working cross-functionally, closely collaborating with functions ranging from Brand Design to Engineering to Analytics.

  • Comfort pulling your own metrics to identify opportunities and measure performance of the program, whether that’s on Mixpanel, Amplitude, a BI tool, or plain old Excel.

  • A practice of understanding the customer, whether through user interviews or surveys, and using that to inform your lifecycle marketing program.

  • A desire to move and ship quickly, with a good nose for impact, and a desire to experiment.

  • Comfort operating as a one-person show, which includes writing strong, succinct copy.

  • A plus, but not necessary: Experience setting up an editorial calendar and one-off campaigns, driven by content pillars.
