About Us:
Ambience is developing the most capable AI systems for healthcare and medicine. As healthcare costs soar to 17.3% of US GDP and a projected shortage of 100,000 physicians within the next decade, the need for AI is critical. Our frontline healthcare workers are overwhelmed, with only 27% of the average clinician's day spent on direct patient care.
Our vision is to advance healthcare by empowering clinicians with safe, intelligent AI agents that improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance both patient and provider experiences.
Headquartered in San Francisco, we have secured $100M in funding from top investors, including Kleiner Perkins, OpenAI Startup Fund, Andreessen Horowitz, Optum Ventures, Human Capital, and Martin Ventures. We collaborate with leading AI experts such as Jeff Dean, Richard Socher, Pieter Abbeel, and AIX Ventures.
Join us in the endeavor of accelerating the path to safe & useful clinical super intelligence by becoming part of our community of problem solvers, technologists, clinicians, and innovators.
The Role
Your mission is to turbo‑charge Ambience's go‑to‑market engine by owning pipeline creation, acceleration, and brand elevation across all field‑facing initiatives. At the heart of the role is a mission‑critical, world‑class events program that anchors webinars, partner campaigns, and sales‑led plays. You will also serve as a trusted advisor to founders and sales leaders in our hyper‑growth environment.
Who You Are
10+ years in field, ABM, or revenue marketing roles with at least 3 years leading teams.
Proven track record owning pipeline or ARR goals, not just MQLs. You can design attribution models and defend them.
Skilled at account-centric program design: you think in buying committees, influence maps, and multi-touch journeys.
Adept at C-suite relationship building. You understand long, consensus-driven sales cycles (healthcare, ERP, gov-tech, or similar).
Executive presence with the humility to roll up sleeves and run an on-site if needed.
Data-literate, comfortable with HubSpot, Salesforce, 6sense or comparable ABM stack.
-
Mission-driven and excited to help clinicians reclaim time for patient care.
What You’ll Do
-
Set the strategy and targets
Build the annual Field & Events plan with pipeline, ARR, and influence goals by segment.
Establish dashboards and inspect pipeline conversion with RevOps and Finance.
-

Orchestrate pre-event ABM outreach, on-site executive engagement, and post-event cadences.
-

Embed in quarterly account planning and forecast reviews.
-
Manage & mentor the team
Coach our Field Marketing Lead and FM Manager, plus manage contractors and agencies.
Standardize playbooks, vendors, and budgets for scale.
-
Evolve the engine
Pilot new channels (webinars, roadshows, user groups) and retire low-ROI activities.
Codify a healthcare executive community that reinforces brand trust and referral loops.
Nice to Have
Field leadership in healthcare, life-sciences, or another regulated industry with 9-24 mo sales cycles.
Experience rolling out 1:few ABM programs or SDR-aligned VIP tracks at top conferences.
Prior ownership of multi-million-dollar event budgets and agency relationships.
Familiarity with key healthcare influencers (CHIME, HFMA, Becker’s, etc.).
Pay Transparency
Base salary range $200,000-$260,000 per year, plus meaningful equity. This intentionally broad range provides flexibility for candidates to tailor their cash and equity mix based on individual preferences. Our compensation philosophy prioritizes meaningful equity grants, enabling team members to share directly in the impact they help create. If your expectations fall outside of this range, we still encourage you to apply—our approach to compensation considers a range of factors to ensure alignment with each candidate's unique needs and preferences.
